more than 17 years of financial experience ranging from bookkeeping to Auditing, financial reporting, taxation and business plans.

I have been in the accounting and finance space since the year 2002 which gives me 19 years of experience in this field.

I started out as a junior bookkeeper in 2002 and continued in this field till I decided to commence with my articles in 2004. During my time as an audit clerk I got exposed to various fields including but not limited to; company audits, internal controls, independent reviews, company tax returns, monthly bookkeeping services, monthly payroll functions and statutory submissions.

I took a sabbatical from my articles in 2006 till 2010 as I wanted to get more accounting exposure from other firms but resumed my articles again in 2011 till the end of 2013.

I started in the corporate environment in 2014 in the software development space and was exposed to financial reporting, quarterly reports, business planning and forecasting together with overseeing the daily and monthly finance functions, implementing internal controls, and running with my team as I was head of the finance department.

I have decided to start my own practice in 2017 as I have always wanted to pursuit the entrepreneurial side within me and to assist other businesses with their financial needs

Accounting Simplified was created because of my passion and dedication to finance. I have been in the financial industry for more than 17 years and I have gained invaluable experience in all fields. I recognized the need for better service delivery, a need that each business owner deserves and cannot risk being without. Backed with my SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants) accreditation I am able to assist any business entity, from sole proprietor right through to signing off on Small to medium sized enterprises.

I’m an artist after hours and I love the outdoors, exercise, reading and spending time with my family and friends – I’m definitely not your bland, stereo typed accountant but rather colourful!
